Demotic was the final incarnation of the ancient Egyptian language before Coptic, and the most cursive version of the Hieroglyphic script developed by the ancient Egyptians. First used in 7th century BC, the final attestation is from the 5th century AD.
Demotic.org has been established to build useful tools for those wanting to learn Demotic. We start with a curated list of pre-existing resources, and will look to add our own soon!
Resources are maintained through GitHub pull requests. That means the list will evolve as more people contribute, while still being reviewed for quality and relevance before appearing on the site.
